PriceLens AU Privacy Policy

PriceLens AU is a browser extension that shows extra price and property data on Australian real estate listing pages (domain.com.au and realestate.com.au) and keeps a price history of the listings you view.

The short version

• Everything the extension saves stays on your device.
• Nothing is sent to the developer or to any third party.
• There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

What the extension reads

When you open a listing, search results or property page on domain.com.au or realestate.com.au, the extension reads the listing data already included in that page (for example the address, advertised price, agent's price, sale history and estimates) so it can show it in a panel.

To complete the panel, it also requests the matching listing or property-profile page from domain.com.au. This request goes directly from your browser to Domain, the same as if you had visited that page yourself. The extension makes no requests to any other site.

What the extension stores

The extension stores the following in your browser's local extension storage (storage.local) on your device:

• The listings you have viewed: address, listing link, prices, status, dates and the changes it has detected between visits.
• A short-lived cache of property-profile data fetched from Domain, so it isn't requested repeatedly.
• Panel display preferences.

This data never leaves your device. The developer cannot see it.

Your control

• Open the extension's toolbar popup to export your history as a file, or to clear it.
• Uninstalling the extension removes all stored data.

Sharing

The extension does not sell, share or transfer your data to anyone. Its only network requests are to domain.com.au, as described above. Those requests are subject to Domain's own privacy policy.

Children

The extension is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any personal information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date.
